What if we "roll-back" our troops and "re-deploy" to a "friendly" country, will we be safer? No.

A future where America's foreign policy isn't about America and it turns into getting along with everybody... We will lose and what do you think will happen? I was born and raised in this country and am a tax paying citizen who isn't represented in the government. Though I agree with some decisions I see no true leaders willing to lead us to, nor lawmakers who promote the guaranteed ideals of prosperity and security required to sustain our great freedom loving nation. I only see power hungry opportunist, career politicians who have continuously failed in their duties and are holding up progress. False promises, political doublespeak and scare tactics have replaced common sense, proper leadership and the expected job well done. Visions of a better future for America are gone due to the one term at a time thinking of "bought and sold" partisan politicians trying to keep their jobs. To the average politician, rounding off the edges of our freedoms is acceptable to augment their careers and further their agendas. It seems no matter who is in charge and makes the laws today, it is all the same and nothing ever changes.

Individual freedoms are being taken away and replaced with false hope and dreams of a "safer" great society united. Due to the "carrot on a stick" mentality of the American people we are being led into a future of being afraid of our own shadows and complete dependence on the government. The blind ignorance of the majority of the populace concerning the most obvious of problems proves as a nation, we must hit rock bottom before we get our heads out of the sand.
The world is now a small place and besides our citizens high tolerance for substandard government performance, we also have enemies who threaten our very existence. Talking only goes so far and force must be an option if we are to remain liberty's example. To realize what needs to be done to defend ourselves you only have to remember who you are and where you are from. For over two centuries, Americans have stepped up and done the right thing when threatened. Why should now be any different?

I have been a soldier in defense of my country during both peace an war; now I am veteran who is disgusted by the lack of real support for the military. There will be many more veterans who feel this way in the future with battlefield patience for ignorance concerning the present, they will be our future leaders like it or not.

I was happy with what I have, now I am angry; my way of life has been threatened and have chosen to fight back. I was ignorant to what goes in the world and how it effects me, now I am not and can clearly see the tasks that need to be accomplished. I do not fear those who hate me for my beliefs and use of freedom, but believe too many Americans are afraid or clueless to what is happening to them.

The time has come, our freedoms must be defended at all costs and as an American I want to challenge my countrymen, those who believe that someone else will protect them, their family and friends. Our forefathers have shown us the way; you only have two choices when freedom is threatened ... Resist or submit.

I am here with a troubled spirit and anger in my soul... the state of our union is strong, but the state of our people is weak. With a booming economy, low unemployment and opportunities for growth and prosperity still thriving, our nation is still ignorant to the facts of how and why. There are those who want us to feel guilty... for being a strong productive people. The weakness of our fellow Americans leads them to believe lies and the bending of facts to promote a un-American agenda. Open your eyes and look around you... what is wrong with America?
